Notes
•To minimize interference from automobile ignition, locate the antenna as far from heavy traffic as possible.
•Keep the feeder cable or coaxial cable as short as possible. Do not bundle or roll up excess cable.
•The antenna should be placed at least 2 meters (6.6 ft) from reinforced concrete walls or metal structures.
■FREQUENCY STEP switch
(Asia and General models only)
Because the interstation frequency spacing differs in different areas, set the FREQUENCY STEP switch on the rear panel of this unit according to the frequency spacing in your area.
•North, Central and South America: 100 kHz/10 kHz
•Other areas: 50 kHz/9 kHz
Before setting this switch, disconnect this unit’s AC power plug from the AC wall outlet.
