IntelliBeam™ Automated System Calibration

No complicated setup or adjustments are necessary — the YSP does everything itself. IntelliBeam technology analyzes the room sound and precisely aims the sound beams both directly at the listener and reflected off the walls for the best surround effect. It then optimizes the audio level and frequency response of each beam in less than three minutes. Manual Setup allows tweaking in accordance with individual preferences.

Two Volume Modes:

Night Listening Enhancer and

TV Equal Volume

During low-volume listening, such as late at night, dynamic range suffers and you may miss some sounds. The Night Listening Enhancer offers two settings, Cinema and Music, with three-level selectability, which will ensure that you don’t miss movie dialogue or quiet passages, or lose overall surround spaciousness. There is also a TV Equal Volume mode to prevent sudden bursts of loud sound such as from commercials.

Interface (YSP-1000)

The YSP-1000 supports IR signal transmission for the convenient operation of other components. The YSP-1000 can be controlled by an IR signal sent through the Remote In terminal. The IR signal received by the Remote Control Sensor on the front panel is directly output through the Remote Out terminal. The YSP-1000 is also provided with an RS-232C interface for a touch-panel controller.
