THE ZONED OVEN
USES OF THE ZONED OVEN
This form of cooking is similar to a gas oven where the top of the oven is hotter than the bottom. As there is a difference of up to 30°C between the top and bottom of the oven this feature is especially useful for dishes requiring different temperatures at the same time making it ideal for cooking a complete meal on two shelves.
HOW TO USE THE ZONED OVEN
1.Turn the Selector to Zoned Oven.
2.Turn the main oven temperature control to the required setting.
THINGS TO NOTE
The main oven indicator neon will glow until the oven has reached the desired temperature and then go out. It will then turn on and off showing that the oven temperature is being maintained.
The Selector neon will glow throughout cooking.
The cooling fan for the controls will operate when the Selector is turned. It may run on after the controls are switched off until the cooker has cooled. See page 7 for further details on the cooling fan.
If an automatic cooking programme is set, the oven light will come on when the cook time begins.
