CardExchange - Professional Card and Print Manager

Issuing ID and Security cards can now be done in seconds thanks to the new CardExchange card management software from DED Limited.

Based upon the highly successful CardFive from NFive software, CardExchange has been specifically created to simplify the process of card issuance and database management. The entire screen layout can be defined with easily accessible menus and buttons for the features and functions which each user requires. These can include fully customised reports and filters for selecting groups of records, data entry fields for the information required for each card and even easy access to specific printer(s) and camera(s). With the click of a mouse you can add information to the database, take a picture and send the information to print immediately - it really is that simple.

CardExchange keeps track of how many times a card has been printed and when. This information can then be stored in the database or printed on the card. It is even possible to track how many cards have been printed per person - making it easier to monitor and control card production. The CardExchange base edition includes connection to an external MS Access database via OleDB. For connection to larger and more powerful databases, modules for MS SQL 2000 and Oracle are available. Also available is a contactless encoding module to enable the production of Proximity (Mifare or HID) cards.

IMAGING

Twain image acquisition - Scanner, digital camera or any other Twain device. Video for Windows - Real time video on a card. Straigtforward functionality to take, edit, store, import and export photos - Storage either in the database or as bitmap or jpeg image, locally or on a network. Extensive photo studio for editing photos - Image tools.

PRINTING

Printing cards using either Windows or DCL printer drivers - indepented of the printer used. Advanced printer functionality - couple any number of Windows printers. Printing on both sides - indepented of card settings. Multiple printing - printing of selections of batches.

ENCODING

Magnetic encoding - Encode track 1, 2 and 3.
