●Cutting an unpillowed log
Saw down halfway, then roll the log over and cut from the opposite side. (SA3)
●Cutting a pillowed log
In the area A in the picture right above, saw up from the bottom
●Limbing a felled tree
WARNING
Be alert to the spring back of a cut limb.
First check which way the limb is bent. Then make a shallow cut into the compressed side to prevent the limb from being torn. Cut through from the tensed side. (SA5)
●Pruning
WARNING
1.Do not use an unstable foothold or a stepladder.
2.Do not overreach.
3.Do not cut above shoulder height.
4.Always use both hands to grip the saw.
Cut up from the bottom, finish down from the top. (SA6)
