AVERTISSEMENT

ADVERTENCIA

•Vérifier régulièrement l’état du silencieux : dommages, corrosion et fixation. Si le silencieux fuit, arrêter d’utiliser la machine et la faire réparer immédiatement.

•Si l’on continue d’utiliser la machine dans cette condition, le moteur risque de prendre feu.

■PARE-ETINCELLES

•Le silencieux est équipé d’un pare-étincelles pour empêcher les particules de calamine portées au rouge de s’échapper. Le vérifier périodiquement et le nettoyer si nécessaire avec une brosse métallique.

Dans l’Etat de Californie, la loi (section 4442 du California Public Resources Code) exige de poser un pare-étincelles lorsqu’un outil à gaz est utilisé en forêt ou sur un terrain brut couvert de buissons ou d’herbes. (MA4)

■CARTER D’ENGRENAGE

•L’engrenage réducteur est lubrifié par de la graisse multifonction au lithium dans le carter d’engrenage. Après environ 25 heures d’utilisation, appliquez de la nouvelle graisse dans le carter d’engrenage. (MA5)

•Retirez les supports de lame avant d’appliquer la nouvelle graisse afin de permettre à la graisse usagée de sortir. (MA6)

REMARQUE

•Lorsque vous retirez et installez le support (A), faites bien attention à ce que de la saleté ou de la poussière n’entre pas dans le carter d’engrenage. (MA6)

•Inspeccione periódicamente el silenciador por sujetadores sueltos, daños o corrosión. Si encuentra cualquier señal de fuga de gas de escape, deje de usar lamáquina y hágala reparar inmediatamente.

•Tenga presente que si no lo hace, el motor podría incendiarse.

■PARACHISPAS

•El silenciador está equipado con un parachispas para impedir que salga carbón caliente al rojo por el tubo de escape. Inspecciónelo periódicamente y, en caso de ser necesario, límpielo con un cepillo de alambre.

En el Estado de California la ley establece (Sección 4442 del Código de recursos públicos de California) que el dispositivo se dote de un apagachispas cuando una herramienta impulsada por gas se utilice en cualquier terreno descuidado cubierto por bosque, brozas o hierbas. (MA4)

■CAJA DE CAMBIOS

•Los cambios de reducción se lubrican con grasa con base de litio multiuso en la caja de cambios. Cada 25 horas de uso, proporcione a la caja de cambios grasa nueva. (MA5)

•Retire los soportes del cortador antes de instalar grasa nueva para que salga la grasa vieja. (MA6)

NOTA

•Al quitar y volver a instalar el soporte (A), tenga cuidado de no permitir que entre suciedad ni polvo en la caja de cambios. (MA6)
