SECURING AN INFANT CARRIER (JUST

FOR SL806A)

To install an infant carrier, first be sure that the infant carrier is not attached to its permanent car base. Locate the car seat adapter strap that was packaged with your stroller. It should have a buckle in the center, and a clip on each end. Next, identify the D-rings located in the hip points of the stroller seat. Ensure that infant seat has been removed from its permanent car base.

Step 1: Recline the stroller seat to the 3rd or 4th position.

Step 2: Attach the car seat adapter strap to the stroller seat by clipping the ends to the D-rings. Adjust the strap so that it is fully extended. Unbuckle the Center, and lay the ends out over the armrests of the stroller seat.

Step 3: Place the infant seat into the stroller seat, so that the infant seat is facing the parent. Depending on the size and design of your seat, you will either place it inside the bumper bar, or over the bumper bar.

Step 4: Bring the ends of the adapter strap back over the infant seat, and buckle the center. The belt should be positioned so that it travels over the lap of the infant seat. Some models have belt guides located on the sides, if your model does; make sure the strap is positioned inside these guides.

Step 5: Tighten the strap down so that infant seat is securely fixed into the stroller seat. Infant seat should not lift out of the stroller seat if properly Strapped in.

FOLDING THE STROLLER

Each time, before closing your stroller, check the following:

Set the stroller brakes

Retract the canopy

Move the seatback into the upright position

Make sure there is nothing in the shopping basket

Push in on the main frame lock button located in the middle of the stroller handle.

Push the handle down in the middle until it stops in a “ V” shape.

Pull up on the base frame handle located at the top of the cross bars which connect both rear leg tubes. Pull this handle up toward you until the stroller fully Closes and the right side auto frame lock engages.

UNLOCKING & OPENING THE FRAME

To open the stroller, first lift up on the black colored frame lock located on the right side of the stroller,

(Fig.1). Be sure the frame lock detaches from the metal

Insert both plastic rear wheel housings onto the rear

 

leg tubes of the stroller (Fig.4). Make sure the brake

 

levers are facing out, away from the stroller. Then push

 

in each locking spring located on the rear stroller

 

tubes. Holding the locking pin in, slide each wheel

 

block over the pin until it locks into place and the silver

 

head of the locking pin can be seen protruding from

 

the wheel housing (Fig.5).

ATTACHING THE FRONT BAR TO THE

ARMRESTS

To attach the front armrest to the stroller seat, line up the inserts of the armrest bar with the two plastic slots on both sides of the stroller. Slide the inserts completely into these slots, making sure that both sides secure into a locked position. Pull out on each side of the armrest to make sure that the armrest is properly locked into the slots. The armrest should not release from the slots. To remove the armrest, locate the plastic tabs underneath where the armrest connects to the sides of the stroller. Press in the tabs while pulling up on the armrest.

ADJUSTING THE SEATBACK

 

To lower the backrest, lift up on the plastic lever

the lever up, move the seatback down into desired

 

position and then release the lever (Fig.6). To raise the

 

backrest, push up on the back of the seat until it clicks

 

into the desired position.

 

ENCLOSING THE SEAT WHEN THE BACKREST IS FULLY RECLINED

The seating area must be fully enclosed whenever the seat is in a fully reclined position. To do so, rotate the footrest back so that it is parallel with the side armrests. Then zip both sides of the footrest to the zipper track on the sides of the seat. (Fig.9)

!WARNING: Your child may slip into leg openings and strangle. Never use the stroller with the backrest fully reclined unless this seat area is fully enclosed.

Do not fold your stroller when wet.

Machine wash removable seat and armrest covers using gentle cycle, cold water, and a mild detergent. The canopy can only be spot washed. Line dry fabric parts.

Never use bleach when washing.

Do not leave your stroller in direct sunlight for extended periods of time. Clean and lubricate all moving parts on the stroller frame and wheels as needed. Use only a penetrating silicon based lubricant.

Regularly check for loose screws, broken parts, etc. Use only Zooper

approved replacement parts available through the service centers listed below. Wipe off any sand, salt or other corrosive residue after each use where the stroller may be exposed to those elements.

Press each wheel block firmly onto the metallic tube ends until they "click" into position (Fig.3). Check to see they have been properly installed by pulling down on the wheel block. To remove the front wheels, push the metal lock located just above the plastic housing and then pull the housing off the metal tubes.

!WARNING: Always keep your child in sight when making these kinds of adjustments. Check the fitting of the safety harness each time the backrest is adjusted to be sure a snug, yet comfortable fitting is

maintained.

USING THE BRAKES

To set the brakes step down on both left and right rear wheel brake levers. Push forward slightly to ensure both brakes have engaged. To release the brakes push the brake levers back inward toward the stroller so that they are parallel with the rear leg tubes.(Fig.7)

ATTACHING THE CANOPY

To attach the canopy, insert the plastic shafts into the plastic slots located on the outside of the main stroller tubes (Fig 10). They are inserted from the bottom up.

Lift up to check that each side is locked into position. Open the canopy by pushing down on the plastic side canopy braces. Be sure to snap the canopy to

the seat and backrest fabric whenever the seat is fully reclined. Retract the canopy by first pulling up on the side braces, then pushing the canopy hood back.

The canopy can be converted to allow more air flow through the stroller. Unzip thelower half of the canopy from the upper half. This will leave a mesh cover that can snap to the back of the seat. To remove the canopy, first undo the snaps. Then pull the release tabs outward and slide the canopy down, off the slots.

!WARNING: The rear panel of the canopy must be snapped onto the seat whenever the seat is fully reclined.
