4Insert the EM-422 into an available expansion slot on the switch. Press it firmly until the EM-422 snaps into place.

5Secure it to the switch with the retaining screws.

6 Turn on the switch. The switch automatically detects the installed EM-422. Connect any necessary network cables to the EM-422 and check the LEDs to verify that it is functioning properly.
