As a wireless Ethernet Bridge, ZyXEL’s G-405 quickly enables any Ethernet-ready device with wireless connectivity, including network printers, print servers, Web cameras, on-line game consoles and any Windows/non-Windows PC. Furthermore, ZyXEL’s G-405 can easily bridge multiple Ethernet clients to a wireless AP for workgroup applications.

Enhanced Wireless Security
In addition to basic 64/128-bit WEP encryption, ZyXEL’s G-405 also supports enhanced wireless security mechanisms such as 802.1x authentication, EAP-MD5/EAP-TLS/EAP-TTLS/PEAP* and Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA). These enhanced security measures only allow authorized users to access the network, further protecting data from being stolen during wireless transmission.
