If the () light is not on, check all Ethernet cables are securely connected. If that does not work, check the Ethernet cables you are using are category 5 or higher. Most cables are labeled with their specifications.

2 Set Up Your Powerline Network

You can expand your network by connecting another HomePlug AV powerline adapter to an outlet on the same electrical circuit as the PLA491.

In the figure above, computer A can now access the Internet via the powerline link (B) and the Internet gateway (C) connected to the PLA491. (This figure is an example only, you can connect almost any networking device to your powerline adapters.)
