Step 5. Open your web browser.

2.2Making a DSL Connection with PPPoE

Use the following steps to configure your Macintosh when using PPPoE. PPPoE is a dial-up connection, so you configure the driver and create a dial-up connection to use. The dial-up connection is not necessary with RFC 1483.

Step 1. Click the Apple icon and System Preferences and then Networking (see Figure 2-1and Figure 2-2).

Step 2. A New Port Detected screen opens when the computer detects that the ADSL link is up. Click OK (see Figure 2-3).
