Step 4. Click the menu bar icon and select Connect.

2.3Making a DSL Connection with PPPoA

Use the following steps to configure your Macintosh when using a PPPoA driver. PPPoA is a dial-up connection, so you configure the driver and create a dial-up connection to use. The dial-up connection is not necessary with RFC 1483.

Step 1. Click the Apple icon and System Preferences and then Networking (see Figure 2-1and Figure 2-2).

Step 2. A New Port Detected screen opens when the computer detects that the ADSL link is up. Click OK.

Step 3. In the Network screen, select adslmodem.
