FIELD

DESCRIPTION

 

 

Authentication

Select WEP from the drop down list.

 

 

Encryption

The WEP keys are used to encrypt data before it is transmitted. The values for the

 

keys must be set up exactly the same on the APs or other peer ad-hoc wireless

 

computers as they are on the ZyAIR.

 

Select either 64-bitor 128-bitfrom the drop-down list box to activate WEP

 

encryption and then fill in the related fields.

 

 

Authentication Type

Select Open System or Shared Key from the drop-down list box to authenticate the

 

access point.
