MAINTENANCE

Maintenance schedule

Below you will find some general maintenance instructions. If you need further information please contact your service workshop.

Daily maintenance

1Clean the outside of the machine.

2Check that the throttle control functions safely.

3 Check that the stop switch works correctly.

4 Check that nuts and screws are tight.

5 Check that there are no fuel leaks.

Weekly maintenance

1Clean the air filter. Replace if necessary.

2Clean the outside of the spark plug. Remove and check the electrode gap. Adjust the gap to 0.5 mm or change the spark plug.

3Clean the cooling system.

Monthly maintenance

1Check fuel hose for cracks or other damage. Change if necessary.

2Check all cables and connections.

3Replace the spark plug. Check that the spark plug is fitted with a suppressor.

4Check and clean the spark arrestor screen on the muffler.

5Check that the vibration damping elements are not damaged.

6Clean the fuel tank.
