Changing the Default Printer Settings in Windows 95/98

The document default printer settings are used automatically when an application initializes the printer settings of a document, usually when a document is created and when the selected printer is changed. By setting the document defaults to the settings you normally use, you can simplify using the printer driver.

You can find the default document settings by:

Selecting Start->Settings->Printers

right-clicking on the film recorder

selecting 'Properties’->’Details’->’Setup’

The default document settings dialog is the same as the printer settings dialog described in “Printer settings in Windows 95/98” on page 41.
