STORAGE

WARNING: Perform the following steps after each use.

S Stop the unit and disconnect the power source when not in use.

SCarry the unit with motor stopped.

SAllow motor to cool before storing or trans- porting.

SStore unit and extension cord indoors in a high, dry place out of the reach of children. Store unit unplugged.

SStore pruner with all guards in place and posi- tion pruner so that any sharp object cannot accidentally cause injury.

SEASONAL STORAGE

Prepare your unit for storage at the end of the season or if it will not be used for 30 days or more.

If your unit is to be stored for a period of time:

SClean it thoroughly before lengthy storage. S Store in a clean dry area.

S Lightly oil external metal surfaces and guide bar.

S Oil the chain and wrap it in heavy paper or cloth.
