UTILISATION DU TAILLE-HAIE

TAILLE D’UNE HAIE

Vous devez vous servir correctement du taille-haie à perche. Portez toujours des lunettes, des gants de caoutchouc et de so- lides chaussures lorsque vous vous servez du taille-haie. Gardez les pieds solidement au sol et en équilibre, et évitez de trop vous étirer lorsque vous utilisez le taille-haie à perche. Avant de faire démarrer l’appareil, maintenez-le des deux mains en vous servant des poignées. Assurez-vous que les lames n’entrent en contact avec aucun objet.

Gardeztoujourslarallongeélectriquederrière le taille-haie à perche lorsque vous vous en servez. Ne faites pas passer la rallonge par dessus la haie car vous pourriez la couper.

Faites de grands mouvements uniformes de va-et-vient pour couper les nouvelles pousses. N’essayez pas d’en tailler une trop grande quantité à la fois. Cela pourrait entraîner le ralentissement du taille-haie ou son blocage, ce qui réduirait l’efficacité de la coupe.

N’appuyez pas fortement sur le taille-haie pour le faire passer à travers des zones de feuillage de plus forte densité. Un léger mouvement de scie, d’avant vers l’arrière, peut faciliter la taille des zones de feuillage plus denses. Lorsque le taille-haie à perche ralentit, réduisez le rythme de taille.

Si le taille-haie venait à se bloquer, arrêtez-le immédiatement. Débranchez le taille-haie de l’alimentation électrique, puis retirez les débris coincés entre les lames.

Ne tentez pas de couper des branches d’un diamètre supérieur à 3/4 po.

Pour de meilleurs résultats, taillez les côtés des haies au moyen d’un mouvement vers le haut. Assurez-vous que la partie supérieure de la haie est légèrement moins large que la partie inférieure. Pour tailler des haies de niveau, servez-vous d’une corde fixée sur toute la longueur de la haie comme guide (consultez la Figure 16).
