MAINTENANCE

HOW TO INSTALL THE WHEELS

If the wheels must be removed for service, make sure they are installed as follows.

Front Wheel

1.Make sure the valve stem is to the outside of the tractor. Slide the front wheel on the spindle (See Figure 34).

2.Fasten the front wheel with washer and cotter pin. Bend the ends of the cotter pin apart to keep the front wheel on the spindle.

3.If your model has hub caps, install the hub caps. Make sure the washer hold the hub caps in place.

Rear Wheel

1.Install the washers and spacer onto the axle as shown in Figure 35.

2.Mount the square key in the key slot (See Figure 35).

3.Make sure the valve stem is to the outside of the tractor. Align the slot in the rear wheel with the square key. Slide the rear wheel on the axle.

4.Fasten the rear wheel with washer and e ring.

5.If your model has hub caps, install the hub caps. Make sure the washer hold the hub caps in place.
