Fitting the main body

Connect the engine (A) to the tube (B) with four screws (C).

Connecting throttle cable and stop switch wires

1Insert the throttle cable (A) through the carburettor bracket (B), then screw the cable adjuster sleeve (C) into the carburettor bracket fully.

2Position the slotted ﬁtting (D) on the carburettor so the recessed hole (E) for the cable lug (F) is away from the cable adjuster sleeve.

3Rotate the carburettor throttle cam and slip the throttle cable through the slot in the slotted ﬁtting, making sure the cable lug drops into the recessed hole.

4Operate the throttle trigger a few times to make sure that it works correctly.

5Adjust the cable adjuster sleeve so the stop on the carburettor throttle cam just contacts the throttle stop and the cable position keep 1-2 mm play between the cable lug and the slotted ﬁtting when the throttle trigger is fully depressed.

6When the throttle cable is adjusted correctly, tighten the locking nut (G).

7Plug the stop switch wires (H) into the matching connectors from the engine. Note that wire polarity is not important.

Fitting the handle

1Position the handle on the shaft. Note that the handle must be mounted below the arrow on the shaft.

2Attach the J-handle to the loop handle using the 4 screws, as shown.

3Now make a ﬁnal adjustment, with the machine hanging from the harness, to obtain the most comfortable working position. Tighten the screws.
