RT-20 Universal Disc Player

Playback Modes

To deactivate frame-by-frame playback:

Press the PLAY button to activate playback at the current play- back time.

Press the STOP button to activate stop or resume mode.

SLOW PLAYBACK

Activates slow playback, which plays the loaded disc at 1/8, 1/6, 1/4, or 1/2 regular playback speed in the selected direction. Audio automatically mutes when slow playback is activated.

Note:

Video CDs are not compatible with reverse slow playback.

To activate slow playback when a disc is playing:

1.Press the Pause button to pause playback at the current play- back time.

2.

Press and hold the

arrow or button to activate reverse

 

or forward slow playback at 1/2 regular playback speed.

3.

Press and release the

or

button again to cycle through all

 

available slow playback speeds – 1/8, 1/6, 1/4 or 1/2 regular

 

playback speed.

 

 

To deactivate slow playback:

Press the PLAY button to activate playback at the current play- back time.

Press the STOP button to activate stop or resume mode.

Press the Pause button to pause playback at the current disc location.

RANDOM PLAYBACK

RANDOM

Activates random playback, which plays the loaded disc in a ran- dom order of chapters, groups, or tracks. The “Playback Modes Table” on page 4-10 indicates the random playback modes avail- able for each disc format. Random playback is not available for DVD-Vs, DVD-R/RWs, Video CDs, and SVCDs that include PBC menus.

To activate random playback:

Press the remote control RANDOM button.

Random playback is automatically deactivated when:

Repeat playback or program mode is activated

The remote control CLEAR, STOP, REPEAT, or PROGRAM button is pressed.
