MISE EN GARDE : Sʼassurer que le bouton de verrouillage est bien engagé pour empêcher lʼutilisation de lʼinterrupteur lors dela pose et du retrait du bloc-piles.

INSTALLATION DU BLOC-PILES : Insérer le bloc-piles dans lʼoutil de manière à entendre un déclic (figure 2). Sʼassurer que le bloc-piles est bien logé et enclenché en place.

RETRAIT DU BLOC-PILES : Enfoncer le bouton de dégagement du bloc-piles situé au dos du bloc- piles, puis retirer le bloc-piles de lʼoutil (figure 2).

INTERRUPTEUR FONCTIONNEMENT3 Pour mettre l'outil en marche, faire glisser le bouton de verrouillage (illustré à la

figure 3) vers l'arrière, puis appuyer sur la détente. Une fois l'outil en marche, relâcher le bouton de verrouillage.

Pour que l'outil continue de fonctionner, il faut maintenir la détente enfoncée. Pour éteindre l'outil, relâcher la détente.

INSTRUCTIONS RELATIVES A LA COUPE 1. POSITION – Toujours demeurer dans

une position stable et garder son équilibre. Porter des lunettes de sécurité, des chaussures à semelles antidérapantes et des gants de caoutchouc pendant les travaux. Bien saisir lʼoutil des deux mains avant de le mettre en MARCHE. Toujours tenir le taille-haie de la façon illustréedans le présent guide en plaçant une main sur la poignée de lʼinterrupteur et lʼautre, sur la poignée-contour (fig. 4). Ne jamais saisir lʼoutil par le protecteur.

2. COUPE DES NOUVELLES POUSSES – (Figure 5) Le mouvement le plus efficace en est

un long, de va-et-vient, en plaçant les dents de la lame entre les branches. La taille est plus nette si on incline légèrement la lame vers le bas, dans

le sens du mouvement.
