PROBLEM

 

PROBABLE CAUSE

Machine Will Not Move

1. Motion Control Levers in the neutral "N" position.

Move Motion Controls to desired speed position.

Loss Of Traction

 

 

 

2. Hydro. Pumps in roll release setting.

2.

Tighten relief valves.

 

 

 

 

 

 

3.

Low transmission hydraulic oil level.

3.

Bring hydraulic oil to proper level.

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.

Parking Brake engaged.

4.

Move parking brake to disengaged position.

 

 

 

 

 

 

5.

Traction drive belts require replacement.

5.

Replace traction drive belts.

 

 

 

 

Blade(s) Not Cutting

1. Blade engagement switch in the "OFF" position.

Move blade switch to the "ON" position.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2.

Clutch belt slipping.

2.

Replace clutch belt.

 

 

 

 

 

 

3.

Mower belt slipping.

3.

Replace mower belt.

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.

Electric clutch not functioning.

Contact authorized SNAPPER dealer.

 

 

 

 

Cutting Grass

1. Uneven tire pressure.
