Battery Information

Your BlackBerry 6510 comes with a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery and charger. Before you can use your handheld, you must charge its battery. You can charge your handheld battery using the USB cable connected to your computer or with the travel charger.

NOTE: When you first charge the handheld battery, the handheld turns on and the Home screen appears, displaying the application icons.

Let the battery charge to full power before using your handheld. The initial charge time is approximately 3 hours. After the initial charge, a fully discharged battery can be recharged in approximately 4-5 hours.

Beginning with a fully charged battery, your BlackBerry 6510 has approximately 165 minutes of talktime and 75 hours of standby time.
