Group Calls

In a Nextel Direct Connect Group Call, you can communicate instantly with a group of people that you have previously set up as a Talkgroup. Group Calls contact all members of the Talkgroup at the same time. Your Nextel Sales Representative or Nextel Customer Care must set up each Talkgroup and provide you with a Talkgroup number before you can use this feature.

Making a Group Call

1.On the Home screen, click the Phone icon. The Phone screen appears.

2.Press SPACE or select One Time Dial and click the trackwheel. The Phone Number/DCID dialog box appears.

3.Press # followed by the number of the Talkgroup. Select Call to place a call and click the trackwheel.

4.Press and hold the PTT button to speak to your contacts. Release the PTT button to listen to other contacts in the group.
