Description

Reserved Leases

The DHCP reserves a set IP addresses.

 

However, if you require a specific IP for a

 

specific device, such as a print server, follow

 

the directions below.

 

To reserve a lease:

 

1 Enter a new MAC Address.

 

2 Enter the reserved IP Address.

 

3 Click Add to reserve the lease.

 

To update or remove a lease, select it and then

 

click Edit or Remove.

Reserved IP

Displays the current IP reservations along with

Address

their associated MAC address.

Active Lease

Displays the current clients that the DHCP

 

server has assigned IP addresses. It displays

 

the Computer Name, along with their IP and

 

MAC address and the duration of its lease.

 

Click Refresh to obtain the latest list.

Networking - DNS Proxy

This feature is used only on your Private network. The feature translates domain or website names into Internet addresses or URLs using the Domain Name System (DNS).

This feature can be used to add the mappings between a Static IP Address and a Host Name. This is most useful for devices like printer servers.

To access the screen, click Networking > DNS Proxy. Click Apply to save your settings or Cancel to cancel changes.
