Installing the Drive
The | drive has three | power | source | options: AC | adapter, |
battery | pack, | and alkaline | batteries (available | ||
at | stores). |

Introduction
When | used | as | a | the | 20X | Max | Portable |

Drive | can | operate | at | up | to | either | 10 | times | the | speed | of | an | audio CD | |
player | mode), | or | 20 | times | the | speed | of an | audio | CD | |||||
player | (normal | mode). | You | can | use | the | drive | connected | to |

your | computer, | or | as | a | portable audio CD | player. The | drive |
| comes | in | ||||
two | models: |

ŸBase model
The | base | model | is | a | portable | that | does | not | |||
include | an | audio | device | driver | or speakers. | To | hear | sound | with | ||
the | base | model, | you | must | supply | your own | headphones | or | |||
external | speakers, | and | your | computer | must | have | an | audio | device | ||
driver | previously | installed. |

ŸStereo model
The | stereo | model is | a portable | that | includes an | |
audio | device | driver, | PCM/MIDI sound | capability, | and | removable |
speakers. |

|

|
