The ThinkPad® Serial ATA Hard Drive Bay Adapter III is used to contain the 2.5-inch Serial ATA hard disk drive. It can only be installed into an Ultrabay™ media bay that is compatible with Serial ATA hard disk drives.

Note: Be sure to verify with your place of purchase that the drive is compatible with your computer. Or, contact the Lenovo Customer Support Center for assistance.
