@VCD operations (for VCD version 2.0 only)

PBC

Ðto switch on or off the playback control mode.

RETURN

Ðto return to the previous menu level during playback (for VCD with PBC switched on).

A. REPLAY

Ðto select continuous playback in either AUTO REPLAY or ONCE mode only.

RECORD

Ðto start recording on tape deck 2.

^PROG

for CD/VCD/MP3-CDÉto programme disc tracks.

for Tuner ............. to programme preset radio stations.

for Clock ............ to select 12- or 24-hour clock mode.

&CLOCK•TIMER

Ðto view the clock, set the clock or set the timer.

*DIM

Ðto select different brightness for the display screen : DIM 1, DIM 2, DIM 3 or DIM OFF.

Ðto connect headphones.

)MIC

Ðto connect microphone jack.

¡MIC LEVEL

Ðto adjust the mixing level for karaoke or microphone recording.

™MASTER VOLUME (VOLUME +/-) Ð to increase or decrease the volume.

£Display screen

Ðto view the current status of the system.

OSD

Ðto switch on or off the On Screen Display on the TV.

ZOOM

Ðto enlarge a still picture of the VCD on the TV screen.

RESUME

Ðto continue playback again from where you have stopped (for VCD with PBC switched off).

VOCAL

Ðto fade out the original vocal from a Karaoke VCD or to switch between mono or stereo mode during audio disc playback.

KEY CONTROL ( IÈ i )

Ðto change the VCD key tone level to suit your vocal range.

ECHO -/+

Ðto adjust the VCD echo level for karaoke after inserted the microphone.
