Separate Fax Line (no voice)

Getting Started

NOTE: If you have problems when connected to the fax/phone port of your ISDN converter, try using the port designated for multiple purposes (might be labeled “multi-combi” or something similar).

Separate Fax Line (no voice)

Connect your Kodak EasyShare AiO to the phone line as shown in the illustration if you have a separate fax line on which you receive no voice calls, and you have no other equipment connected on this phone line.

1Connect the phone cord supplied with your EasyShare AiO to your telephone wall jack and the port labeled 1-LINE.

2Set Answering Machine Mode on your All-in-One to On.

When the phone rings, your EasyShare AiO will answer automatically after the number of rings you set in the Rings to Answer setting. It will then send fax reception tones to the sending fax machine and receive the fax.

Shared Voice/Fax Line

Connect your Kodak EasyShare AiO to the phone line as shown in the illustration if you receive both voice and fax calls at the same phone number, and you have no other equipment connected to this phone line.

1Connect the phone cord supplied with your EasyShare AiO to your telephone wall jack and the port labeled 1-LINE.

2Connect your phone to the port labeled 2-EXTon the back.
