3 Handling and Loading Paper

Use the following guidelines when handling paper.

„To avoid fingerprints, handle the paper by the edges as much as possible.

„Avoid touching the glossy side of photo paper.

„Keep the input and 4x6 paper trays closed to keep out dust and debris.

„Store paper flat.

„Keep paper away from direct sunlight, and out of high-temperature environments (such as a vehicle parked in the sun).

You can load many different types and sizes of paper in your Kodak EasyShare AiO, including letter paper, photo paper, transparencies, and envelopes (see Paper Types in the Appendix). The EasyShare AiO automatically detects the size and type of paper you load in the input tray, and then adjusts to generate the highest quality output for that paper.

The Scanner Glass

The scanner glass or automatic document feeder is where you place originals for copying, scanning, or faxing.

1Lift the lid and place your original face down on the left rear corner of the scanner glass or place a stack of originals (up to 35 sheets of 20 lb plain paper) in the automatic document feeder face up.
