*Interpolierte Auflösungen. Wenn Auflösungen angezeigt werden, die geringer als der Pixel-Count des LCD-Moduls sind, können Buchstaben „stufig“ erscheinen oder Linien fett aussehen. Das ist normal und bei allen gegenwärtig zur Verfügung stehenden Flachbildschirmtechnologien notwendig, wenn Auflösungen, die dem Monitor nicht entsprechen, in Ganzbildschirmgröße angezeigt werden. Bei Flachbildschirmen ist jeder Punkt auf dem Bildschirm ein Pixel, d.h. wenn man die Auflösung auf Ganzbildschirmgröße vergrößert, muß eine Interpolation der Auflösung vorgenommen werden. Wenn die interpolierte Auflösung nicht ein ganzes Vielfaches der eigenen Auflösung des Bildschirms ist, kann die mathematische Interpolation dazu führen, daß manche Linien dicker als andere aussehen.
