4In the track list screen, press RECORD (or press REC on the remote control)

The list of tracks appears.

5Press MARK•UNMARK to select or deselect the tracks to be recorded.

To select/deselect all tracks, press and hold

MARK• UNMARK.

Helpful hint:

Press 1 to stop selecting tracks and return to the list of tracks.To continue,repeat Steps 3 to 5.

6Press RECORD to start recording

The display shows transferring ...The number of tracks transferred/to be transferred appears

Selected tracks are transferred to the USB device.

Recording will also stop when:

the USB device is unplugged and the display shows Connection interrupt, Cancel transfer...

the USB device has more than 99 folders and 999 titles and the display shows Device is full, Cancel transferring...

To find the transferred tracks on your USB device

All the transferred tracks are saved under the Music folder.They are named as XX-YY.mp3 (where XX denotes track number and YY denotes track name) and are located under folders and sub-folders in the same way as they are located under the genre, artist and album in the Center’s hard disk.

To play the transferred tracks on other music players

You can play the transferred tracks on music players supporting USB playback. On different players, the files/folders may be browsed in different ways.

Helpful hint:

DRM protected files might not play if they are transferred to the USB device.

10.2Playing a portable hard disk audio player

You can enjoy the music library on your portable hard disk player via WACS7000’s sophisticated speaker system.

1Check that the portable hard disk audio player is properly connected to the Center or Station (see 3.3.3 Installation: Connecting to a portable hard disk audio player)

2Check that the Center or Station is switched on or is already in standby mode (see 5.Basic functions)
