DesXcape 150DM software update

From time to time, new software updates will be available from the Philips website. Registered users will be informed of software updates through proactive email notifications. To register your DesXcape 150DM online go to http://www.philips.com/desxcape/register.

The software update notification email will explain how to update your DesXcape 150DM and maintain optimal performance.

1Do not drop:

DesXcape 150DM is a complicated elec- tronic device and cannot stand the shock from dropping.

2Do not expose to moisture:

DesXcape 150DM is neither moisture proof nor moisture resistant. Exposing any part of DesXcape 150DM to mois- ture or spilling liquids of any kind onto it will very likely damage your DesXcape 150DM.

3Do not scratch:

The touch screen of DesXcape 150DM may be damaged by hardware with sharp edges. Please only use the stylus that came with your DesXcape 150DM touch screen.

The LCD panel of DesXcape is made of glass and therefore is sensitive to abnormal forces.

Base station function

The base station works only when DesXcape 150DM is housed in it. The base station turns off automatically when DesXcape 150DM is powered off or detached. A light indicator at the front shows whether or not the base station is active.

It is highly recommended that you connect to the base station only devices that you do not plan to use while DesXcape 150DM is away from its base station. Use the base station to connect devices like key- boards, mouse, speakers, and microphones that are
