Plug the other ends of the line cord and power cable into the telephone socket and mains power socket.

3.3 Install and charge the handset batteries

Warning

The handset must be charged for at least 24 hours before using it for the first time.

Never use any battery type other than the one supplied. There is a risk of explosion if the batteries are replaced by an incorrect type.

Your SE245 is supplied with two rechargeable batteries.

Slide off the battery door (if fitted).

Insert the batteries as indicated and slide the door back on.

Place the handset face up on the base to charge.

A beep confirms the handset is placed correctly and charging will begin.

When there is enough power in the batteries, the handset will automatically register with the base. The standby screen is displayed. Or if the display shows WELCOME: you must select your country.
