Controlling the cost of MFP and printer fleets is a critical capability for organizations of any size. MANAGING AND TRACKING COSTS

For any I.T. department managing a fleet of MFP systems, it is crucial to be able to manage and track the costs of operating the systems. The Xerox WorkCentre 4150 includes the following utilities for tracking and managing costs:

•Device Auditron – Can restrict and track copy and fax usage.

•Xerox Standard Accounting (XSA) – Restricts and tracks copy, print, fax and scan usage. XSA can also generate reports from the Web showing print, copy, fax and scan events with time stamps.

•3rd Party Enablement for Accounting – Additional accounting solutions for specific industries and vertical applications are available from Xerox Business Partners including Equitrac Corporation, Pharos Systems, Control Systems Inc, and more.

Another cost management option is a Xerox maintenance and supplies contract. With this contract, per page printing costs are fixed, meaning the per-click charge is consistent regardless of how much toner is used.
