Troubleshooting

Q1: Is the Fiber Module hot pluggable?

A1: Yes, it is hot pluggable.

Q2: I can't make a connection. What should I do?

A2: First, verify that you are using the proper fiber cable (e.g. SC-type multi-mode fiber cable). Second, verify that the TX and RX cables have been reversed on the opposing Fiber connection.

Q3: What is the maximum distance that is supported by the Module?

A3: 550 meters.
