The PC uses the public Internet address of the firewall, in this example 209.114.198.3. This public Internet IP address is assigned by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) and may be static or dynamic depending on the service. The unique FTP port number 11021 is used to specify which unit is to be accessed. The firewall then connects the PC to the correct BlueFlyers unit based on this port number.
