FRONT PANEL COMPONENTS

Following is a brief description of your Port Replicator’s front panel components

Docking Port

The docking port connects the Port Replicator to your LifeBook. (Figure 4-10)

Port Replicator Release Latch

Pull the Port Replicator Release latch away from the Port Replicator to remove the Port Replicator from your Life- Book. (Figure 4-10)

ATTACHING THE PORT REPLICATOR

To attach the Port Replicator follow these easy steps:

1.Power off your LifeBook.

2.Align the Port Replicator connector on the bottom of your LifeBook with the connector on the

Port Replicator and push together at the two corners. (Figure 4-11)

DETACHING THE PORT REPLICATOR

To detach the Port Replicator follow these easy steps:

1.Power off your LifeBook.

2.Pull the Port Replicator’s release latch away from the Port Replcator to release it from your LifeBook. (Figure 4-12)

3.Pull away the Port Replicator to detach it from your LifeBook. (Figure 4-13)
