The parameters displayed in this menu appear as data entry fields. To use these fields:

1Position the cursor to the left of each field in the menu, and enter the appropriate data.

2Press F6 to save your data and exit the menu.

Table 2-3 describes the data fields in the Open Session menu.

Session

Type the name of your session in this field.

Auto Start

Type a yes or a no in this field. Yes prompts

 

the emulator to start the session immediately

 

after exiting this menu.

Host Name

Enter the name of the host to which you want to

 

connect.

Port Number

In this field, type the number of the port to which

 

you want to connect. The recommended entry for

 

TN5250 is 23.

IBM Terminal Type

Enter the type of terminal to which you are

 

connecting.
