Power-saving function

If the power saving function is triggered during animation is being played, or music recorded or played, operation of the application becomes unstable. In this case, disable the power-saving function.

Peripheral devices/cables

Use a Fujitsu-supplied product for a peripheral device or cable to be connected to the PC. Some commercially-available peripheral devices or cables cannot be connected to the PC properly.

Mouse with scroll (wheel) function

A mouse with the scroll function (PS/2) must be connected to the PC unit.

If the USB keyboard and a mouse with the scroll function (PS/2) are used at the same time, the mouse may be disabled in the Safe mode of Windows 98.

In this case, disconnect the USB keyboard from the PC unit, perform some operation of the mouse (ex. clicking), and reconnect the keyboard (the scroll function is not available in the Safe mode of Windows 98).

Intel® processor serial number

Each Intel Pentium III Processor contains an electrically-readable serial number, which can be used to improve security, and manage information and assets on the web.

The processor serial number can be read using software application. This read function can be enabled or disabled using BIOS Setup. By default, the function is “disabled”.

To enable the function, set [Main]-[Processor serial number] of BIOS Setup to [Enabled].
