Use the following procedures as a guide in id correcting problems with the ThinkPad computer.

Testing the computer

The ThinkPad computer has a test program called PC-Doctor DOS (hereafter PC-calledDoctor). You can detect errors by running the diagnostics test i PC-Doctor. This section is an overview of the pro For details that depend on model-unique functions, “Product overview” on page 13.

For some possible configurations of the computer, PC-Doctor might not run correctly. To avoid this p you need to initialize the computer setup by before you run PC-Doctor. In the Easy-Setup scre

Note: When you initialize the computer configurat some devices are disabled, such as the If you test one of these devices, you enable it by using PS2.EXE.

PC-Doctor does not support the test for the de SelectaDock docking station.

You can test the device in the docking station advanced test in Easy-Setup that is supported b ThinkPad 600, 600E, or 770x series.

To

run

install

it in

the

bay

of

the

600 or

600E

 

Then

start
