7.Select the CHANGE DISPLAY TYPE button.

8.Select the CHANGE MONITOR TYPE button. Insert the Setup diskette into drive A: and select the HAVE DISK button.

9.Choose the 9497 monitor and select OK>, the files will be copied from

the diskette to your hard drive.

10. Close all open windows and remove the diskette.

11. Reboot the system. The system will automatically select the maximum refresh rate and corresponding Color Matching Profile.

Auto Setup for Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows 2000 or Windows NT

1. Turn on the monitor first; then the computer.

If the message NO SIGNAL is displayed, or if nothing is displayed check: The video interface cable is connected properly.

The correct video adapter card is installed.

Video card is set for a mode within the operating range of your new monitor.

2.Wait approximately 15 minutes, until the monitor warms up.

3.Insert the “Flat Panel Monitor Installation Diskette” into the diskette drive.

4.Check the operating system installed on your computer and follow the instructions from the table below.

When test pattern appears, press the OSD (On Screen Display) entry key () and then use the left and right arrow key to highlight the image set-up icon

(). Press enter key to enter sub-menu and then press enter key again to activate the auto setup procedure. Image Setup will auto-adjust H-position, V-position, Pixel Clock and Phase.

Note : Direct access to the auto setup function is also provided by simultaneously pressing the left and right arrow keys.
