If you encounter trouble with this product, first check that the monitor is properly installed.

Can't find the 9497 Monitor on the Windows 95® or Windows 98® or Windows 2000® monitor lists.

You need to update the Windows 95® or Windows 98® or Windows 2000® setup information for your 9497 Monitor.

There is no picture on the screen.

Check:

Power saving mode. Press any key or move the mouse to deactivate the mode.

Signal cable connector pins. If there are bent or missing pins, consult your place of purchase.

That the video mode selected is within the operating range of the monitor. If the power indicator on the monitor bezel is green and flashing then the monitor has detected signals that are outside its operating range.

The picture is unstable.

Check:

Signal cable connector pins. If there are bent or missing pins, consult your place of purchase.

Graphics card. Ensure a valid mode is selected.

Characters look too dark or too light.
