Use these for fast scanning during playback.

FSTOP

Use this to stop playback.

GPLAY

Use this to start playback.

HCursor buttons and ENTER

Use these buttons in the setup mode.

ISETUP

Use this button to enter or exit the setup menu.

JWORD

Use this to turn on or off the word sync function.

When the word sync is on, the unit will synchronize with an external word sync source.

KOPEN/CLOSE

Use this button to open and close the disc tray.

LClear button

Use this button to clear entry errors, etc.

MDISPLAY

Use this button to change the display mode.

NFL DIMMER

Use this button to change the brightness of the front panel display.

OREPEAT

Use this button to set the repeat playback mode.

AON/STANDBY

Use the ON button to turn the unit on. Use the STANDBY button to turn it standby.

When you press the ON button, white buttons on the remote control unit light for several seconds.

BNumber buttons

Use these for selecting tracks by number, etc.

CPLAY AREA

Use this with Super Audio CDs to select the playback area.

Di.LINK

Use this to turn i.LINK output on and off.

PButtons for the operation of DVD-Audio

The following are the DVD-Audio-only buttons, and will be made available when the SZ-1 is updated in the future.

AUDIO

During playback of a DVD-Audio disc, press this button to select an audio.

GROUP

During playback of a DVD-Audio disc, press this button to skip groups.

QSKIP (.//)

Use these for skip operations.

RPAUSE

Use this to pause playback.

SRETURN

Use this button to go back a level in the setup menu.
