Cisco 7507 Router Slot Numbering

Cisco 7507 routers have five slots for port adapters, and two slots for RSPs. The slots are numbered from left to right. You can place the port adapters in any of the VIP interface slots (slot 0, 1, 4, 5, or 6). Slots 2 and 3 are always reserved for RSPs. Figure 1-12shows the slot numbering on a Cisco 7507 router.
