Remove the Fan Assembly Module
Step 1 Remove the front cover by lifting it up slightly and then pulling it toward you (see Figure 2). Step 2 Loosen the captive screws on each side of the fan assembly module.
Step 3 Pull the module out of the chassis (see Figure 3 on page 11).
Step 4 If you are replacing the cable and the fan assembly module, or if you are replacing just the cable, see the “Replace the Fan Assembly Cable” section on page 12.
