1Conecte su UPS en un tomacorriente.

Su UPS ejecutará una auto-prueba después de ser conectado. Consulte la Operación básica para entender los resultados de la auto-prueba.

2Conecte su computadora, monitor y módem externo en las salidas UPS/Sobretensiones. Conecte otros equipos en las salidas Sólo- Sobretensiones.

Las salidas UPS/Sobretensiones y Sólo- Sobretensiones están identificadas en la parte posterior de su UPS. Su UPS sólo está diseñado para dar soporte a equipos de cómputo Si conecta equipos de alto consumo de energía como electrodomésticos, impresoras láser o supresores de sobretensiones a las salidas del UPS, lo sobrecargará.

3Seleccione el modo de operación del UPS.*

Presione el botón ON/OFF (encendido/ apagado) para alternar su UPS entre los modos UPS (LED “ encendido) y CHARGE ONLY (sólo recarga) (LED “ destellando) Elija el modo de operación en función de su ubicación:

EE.UU., Canadá y Europa Occidental:

• Siempre deje el UPS en el modo UPS.

Todos los otros países:

Ponga el UPS en el modo CHARGE ONLY (sólo recarga) cuando no esté usando el equipo conectado.
