Connecting an MCP to an SNMP Management System

Procedure

To connect an MCP card to an SNMP management system or for Telnet access:

1.Plug the end of an 8-pin modular cable into LAN MCP jack of the SIM, which corresponds to the MCP card in Slot 1 of the chassis.

2.Plug the other end of the cable into the 10/100 BaseT hub connector to the SNMP management system network.
