The following table describes the fields present in Menu 24.1 - System Maintenance - Status. These fields are READ-ONLY and are meant to be used for diagnostic purposes. The upper right corner of the screen shows the time and date according to the format you set in menu 24.10.

Port

 

Identifies a port (Wireless or LAN ) on the ExpWave.

 

 

 

Status

 

Shows the port speed and duplex setting if you’re using Ethernet Encapsulation

 

 

and Down (line is down), 100M or 10M and Full or Half.

TxPkts

 

The number of transmitted packets on this port.

 

 

 

RxPkts

 

The number of received packets on this port.

 

 

 

Cols

 

The number of collisions on this port.

 

 

 

Tx B/s

 

Shows the transmission speed in Bytes per second on this port.

 

 

 

Rx B/s

 

Shows the reception speed in Bytes per second on this port.

 

 

 

Up Time

 

Total amount of time the line has been up.

 

 

 

Ethernet Address

 

The Ethernet address of the port listed on the left.

 

 

 

IP Address

 

The IP address of the port listed on the left.

 

 

 

IP Mask

 

The IP mask of the port listed on the left.

 

 

 

DHCP

 

The DHCP setting of the port listed on the left.

 

 

 

System up Time

 

The total time the ExpWave has been on.

 

 

 

CPU Load

 

Specifies the percentage of CPU utilization.

 

 

 

You may enter 9 to reset the counters or [ESC] to return to menu 24.

11.2 System Information and Console Port Speed

This section describes your system and allows you to choose different console port speeds. To get to the System Information and Console Port Speed:

Step 1. Enter 24 to go to Menu 24 – System Maintenance.

Step 2. Enter 2 to open Menu 24.2 - System Information and Console Port Speed. Step 3. From this menu you have two choices as shown in the next figure:

11.2.1 System Information

System Information gives you information about your system as shown below. More specifically, it gives you information on your routing protocol, Ethernet address, IP address, etc.
