Advanced Configuration

The Bluetooth serial adapter has an embedded configuration menu that allows you to change settings for your specific application. This menu can be accessed via HyperTerminal (Windows systems).

Using this configuration mode, you can configure the baud rate, select Peer Device (Master only), change PIN code, enable/disable authentication, and enable/disable encryption.

NOTE: In order to enter configuration mode, the Bluetooth serial adapter MUST be set to 9600 baud rate via the DIP switches.
